Compassionate Care Plus (CCP) provides care and services without discrimination based on race, color, creed, sex, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, diagnosis, national origin, religion, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

CCP is committed to providing care that respects the unique needs, preferences, and backgrounds of each patient and family. We make reasonable accommodations for individuals with special communication, cultural, spiritual, emotional, psychosocial, or physical needs. This may include accommodations related to hearing or vision impairments, language barriers, literacy needs, religious practices, cultural preferences, or other circumstances that require individualized support. Identified needs are incorporated into the patient’s plan of care.

Federal and state anti-discrimination laws, including applicable civil rights and fair employment laws, prohibit discrimination in employment practices. CCP complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations and is committed to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Any employee who believes they have experienced unlawful discrimination, including harassment, by a coworker, supervisor, manager, physician, volunteer, or agent of CCP should report the incident as soon as possible to their supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer. Reports will be reviewed promptly, investigated as appropriate, and addressed through corrective action when warranted.

NO. The cost of care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. We also provide a free Grief & Loss Support program for anyone in the community who may need this service.

We provide care for all, even those who may be underinsured.

Teen Volunteers: Prep for College, Career

On Saturday, April 28, Hospice Care Plus will train a new class of volunteers. All are welcome and needed but, as summer approaches, teenagers are especially encouraged to attend. New Volunteer Training April 28

Hospice Care Plus is hosting a training for new volunteers on Saturday, April 28, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
