Online Support for Grief and Loss

We hope these online resources offer insight and comfort to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, as well as those who wish to support them. They include suggestions from the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, our grief and loss support staff, and organizations dedicated to grief support.

It also provides practical advice, tools, and creative outlets for coping. The site’s focus on practical tools and creativity for processing grief, alongside its vast library of educational content, makes it stand out.

The Dinner Party is a community-driven platform for individuals in their twenties and thirties who have experienced the loss of a loved one. It connects people through peer-led dinner gatherings where participants share stories and find mutual support. Its emphasis on creating in-person connections and fostering community among younger adults makes it unique.

Modern Loss offers a blend of storytelling, resources, and advice about grief and loss. It is designed to be a candid and relatable space where people can navigate their loss without judgment or clichés. Its raw, unfiltered approach to discussing grief, coupled with contemporary and culturally relevant content, makes it unique.

Option B: Care for yourself & others during hardship Option B provides tools and resources to build resilience during challenging times. It includes stories, expert advice, and supportive communities for coping with adversity. The focus on resilience and resources for navigating a wide array of hardships—not just loss—sets it apart. 

Hospice Care Plus was founded as a non-profit organization to support the quality of life of its communities through hospice, palliative, and grief care programs. The organization serves Estill, Jackson, Lee, Madison, Owsley, and Rockcastle counties and owns and operates the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Our Home Hospice and Home Palliative Care programs serve you, wherever you call home, in the Kentucky counties of Estill, Jackson, Lee, Madison, Owsley, and Rockcastle.

Our inpatient care facility, the Compassionate Care Center, and administrative offices are located in Richmond, Kentucky.
