
Bowlers at last year’s Lemetta Dause Memorial Bowling Tournament. This year’s tournament, the 5th annual, is on February 28.
The 5th annual Lemetta Dause Memorial Bowling Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Galaxy Bowling Center in Richmond.
The tournament is organized by the Madison County Bowling Association and the Madison County Women’s Bowling Association in memory of Mrs. Dause, who was cared for by Hospice Care Plus. All proceeds are donated to Hospice Care Plus in her name.
Every participant will receive a ticket for a chance to take home one of several door prizes, which are given away at the end of the tournament. Prizes are also awarded at that time.
The entry fee is $20 for the 3-6-9 no-tap tournament, and it is open to all bowlers. The fee includes four games. For more information, contact organizers Harvey Poynter at 859-582-4764 or Beverly Shearer at 859-625-4130.
