Hospice Care Plus will host two retirement receptions for Gail McGillis, who announced earlier this year that she will retire at the end of 2019 after 26 years of service.

Both receptions are open to the public and will include refreshments.
“Gail always shies away from recognition and did not plan to hold any public events related to her retirement,” says Brenna Wallhausser, director of public relations. “But, when we announced her retirement on Facebook, several people asked us to let them know about opportunities to celebrate her legacy. The Board of Directors and our staff agreed together to host these two events.”
The first reception is at the Compassionate Care Center on Wednesday, December 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The second reception will be held at our administrative office in Berea on 208 Kidd Drive on Tuesday, December 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
At Gail’s request, Hospice Care Plus asks guests to consider a donation in Gail’s honor in lieu of retirement gifts. A donation box will be available at both receptions. Honorarium retirement gifts may also be made online at our secure site. Be sure to indicate “In Honor of Gail McGillis” in the “Memorials, Notifications, Designations” section.
