Hearts for Hospice Returns in February

Each February, local banks across our service region come together to share the love through Hearts for Hospice, an annual community fundraiser supporting Hospice Care Plus.

When you stop by the lobby or drive-through of a participating bank, you’re invited to make a donation of $1 or more in exchange for a memorial heart. Donors may write their own name or the name of someone special they wish to honor or remember. These hearts will then proudly be displayed throughout the month of February as a visible reminder of community compassion.

Prefer to donate online? Simply visit our secure online donation link and complete the giving form. Once submitted, our staff will fill out a memorial heart on your behalf, which will be displayed in the lobby of our Compassionate Care Center all month long.

It’s this shared spirit of generosity that makes Hearts for Hospice so meaningful. “Hearts for Hospice is special because it brings our community together in such a simple but meaningful way,” said Stefanie Manes, Director of Community Engagement. “Each heart represents a life, and a commitment to ensuring that patients and families in our region receive compassionate, dignified care when they need it most. We’re incredibly grateful to our local bank partners and to everyone who participates.”

All proceeds from Hearts for Hospice support vital programs, including hospice home care, in-patient hospice care at our Compassionate Care Center, and grief & loss support for families across Estill, Jackson, Lee, Madison, Owsley, and Rockcastle counties.
