Our Grief & Loss Support Services are available to caregivers and families of hospice patients as well as the community at large. Thanks to the support of our donors, these services are provided at no cost.
Grief Support Groups
Our support groups and series are facilitated by professional staff offering peer support and compassionate dialogue. We ask that you pre-register for group events and gatherings. Weekly Grief Support Gathering
Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at our Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.

We offer periodic limited-series grief support groups and workshops in the communities we serve. Check back for updates, and make sure to follow us on Facebook
Journaling Through Grief
We’ll meet on Thursday mornings, starting August 7 and running through October 23, from 10 to noon. The group will meet at the Estill County Public Library in Irvine. It’s open to anyone in the community, but please note that space is limited to just 12 people so we can keep it personal.
This series is facilitated by professional staff offering peer support and compassionate dialogue while utilizing the Understanding Your Grief text and journal by Dr. Alan Wolfelt.

First Sunday in December
For decades, the Remembrance Tree Ceremony has been a chance for the community to remember loved ones during the holiday season.
Anyone who misses a loved one during the holidays is welcome to participate, regardless of whether your loved one was cared for by our hospice.

My Grief and Loss Support Booklet
This booklet was created and published by our Grief and Loss Support team. We're happy to mail this to anyone who would like extra support as they grieve the loss of a loved one, regardless of whether our organization cared for them.
