Removing weeds at the Compassionate Care Center

If you are kind, compassionate, and believe in serving your community, we’d love for you to join our volunteer team.

Hospice Care Plus will host a training for new volunteers on Saturday, April 30, 9 am-4 pm, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Pre-registration is requested so the staff can be sure to provide lunch and training materials for everyone. To pre-register, contact Hospice at 859-986-1500 or hospice@hospicecp.org.

Volunteers help in numerous ways. As you’ll see below, some opportunities involve direct contact with patients and families, while others focus on working with staff members at one of our locations.

Hospice volunteers become part of our staff and our teams, working together to ensure quality of life for patients, their families, the bereaved, and our community in general. Our Volunteer Coordinator can work with you to find a role that fits your availability and interests.

To learn more, contact us at 859-986-1500 or 800-806-5492.
