Celebrating the Center’s 10th Year

“A Decade of Compassion” is Oct. 13. Reserve your tickets or select your sponsorship level by contacting us at 859-302-2688 or development@hospicecp.org.

2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the Hospice Care Plus Compassionate Care Center, and we’re celebrating with a special event in October.

“A Decade of Compassion: Celebrating 10 Years of the Compassion Care Center” will take place Saturday, October 13, on the Center’s grounds in Richmond. It begins at 5: 30 p.m., and the public is invited to attend.

“The Compassionate Care Center has been a community effort from the very beginning,” says Gail McGillis, Hospice’s CEO. “We look forward to celebrating with all the friends and supporters who helped us realize the dream of freestanding, inpatient hospice care.”

The event will feature a buffet dinner, live music, a live auction, a 21-foot dessert and confection buffet, testimonials, a luminary lighting, and a special tribute.

All are invited and welcome to the 10th anniversary celebration!

Donna Angel, vice president and branch manager with Community Trust Bank in Berea and the vice president of Hospice’s Board of Directors, is serving as chair of the event’s planning committee. Honorary co-chairs are Ed and Linda Herzog.  Ed Herzog is a past president of the Hospice Care Plus Board of Directors and was instrumental in the construction process of the Center.

Reservations can be arranged by contacting Hospice Care Plus at 859-986-1500 or development@hospicecp.org. The reservation deadline is October 9.

Stay tuned to our website and our Facebook event page for updates, photos, and more information about the event and the Compassionate Care Center’s first ten years.
