Hospice Care Plus has launched a re-design of the hospicecareplus.org website. The new design provides visitors with a more informative and user-friendly experience and easy access to the support, resources, and education needed to make informed health and caregiving decisions when faced with serious illness.

The site was specifically designed for family caregivers looking for support and information. It features opportunities to inquire about services, enhanced accessibility, and improved navigation to ensure visitors find information quickly and discover new content.

“Accessibility is important to us,” says Kelley Hoefer, the Hospice Care Plus staff member who worked with local business Turnquist House on the site overhaul. “The redesign is compatible with assistive technologies and allows users to adjust the display to meet specific audiovisual needs.”

Our enhanced website offers visitors many opportunities to interact directly, including submitting a request for a free consultation, requesting grief support, applying for a volunteer role, registering for upcoming events and supporting our care programs.

Hospice Care Plus was founded as a non-profit organization to support the quality of life of its communities through hospice, palliative, and grief care programs. The organization serves Estill, Jackson, Lee, Madison, Owsley, and Rockcastle counties and owns and operates the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Relying on contributions from individuals and groups, all care is provided regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Make a gift, explore career and volunteer opportunities, or call 859-986-1500 to learn more.

Grief and Loss During Holidays and Milestones

Holidays can be a uniquely difficult time for those grieving the loss of a loved one.
