Events

From community education to fundraisers, we host events throughout the year.

In May and December, we host our two banner events: the Derby Eve Benefit Party and the Remembrance Tree Ceremony. By attending fundraisers, you help fund our mission of providing care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Keep up with our scheduled events by following us on Facebook or by joining our Upcoming Events Mailing List.

Although the name has changed over the years – Bourbon, Boots & BBQ, the Gala on Derby Eve, the Run for the Roses Derby Eve Benefit, and Spring Thing—one thing has never changed: all proceeds from the event have supported Hospice Care Plus for more than 20 years.

Remembrance Tree Ceremony

Sunday, December 8, 2024

For decades, the Remembrance Tree Ceremony has been a chance for the community to remember loved ones during the holiday season.

Anyone who misses a loved one during the holidays is welcome to participate, regardless of whether your loved one was cared for by our hospice.
